This year Fermentation on Wheels is doing pop-up dinner parties at Get Juiced Health Bar Cafe (4 Hamburg Ave, Sussex, NJ 07461) every third Thursday from 6 to 9 pm. Menus are inspired by cookery from around the world and highlight traditional foods and fermentation techniques. Ingredients are organic and sourced as locally as possible. Drifter emphasizes vegetarian cuisine but meat options will often be offered.
Check our events page for upcoming dinner menus. Drifter will happen every month February through October of 2020 and take a break during the winter season (November through January).
Seats at Drifter are available on first come first serve basis and for this reason reservations are strongly encouraged. Contact Tara at 917-246-0573 to reserve. We will also have a take-out option available if you pre-order (and pre-pay) at least 24 hours in advance.
New issues of Fermentation Illustrated will release every third Thursday at Drifter. Fermentation Illustrated shares cultural, historical, and personal stories of fermentation, inspiring and empowering people to do it themselves. Issues are regularly $10 but you can receive a half-price discount if you dine at Drifter the night of a zine’s release.
